What is FROGS?
FROGS is the Misprint Frogs token on the Base network. There are 1,000,000,000 FROGS in total, and no more can ever be created. All of them go to the public claim: no team tokens, nothing kept back. The contracts are public and verified on Basescan.
Why is there a claim fee?
Each claim pays a small ETH fee to the Misprint Frogs team: 0.0004 ETH in Era 1, then 0.0008, 0.0016, 0.0032 and 0.0064 ETH. Claiming early costs the least. You also pay a tiny Base network fee.
How do eras work?
There are 5 eras of 8,000 claims each. When all claims of an era are used, the next era starts by itself with a higher fee. Every wallet can claim once in each era, so up to 5 times in total.
Is it safe?
The claim only sends you FROGS and takes the fee you see in your wallet. It never asks you to approve or spend your other tokens. If a site asks you to “approve” tokens to claim FROGS, it’s fake. Only trust links from @misprintfrogs.
Is this the Bitcoin Ordinals collection?
No. FROGS is a new token on Base. The Misprint Frogs Ordinals stay on Bitcoin, unchanged.
What’s coming next?
The Misprint Frogs marketplace, where you’ll be able to buy and sell FROGS, and an NFT collection for FROGS holders. FROGS is not listed on other exchanges. Until the marketplace opens, FROGS has no price, so don’t spend more than you’re comfortable with.
